She was born in Split, Federative People’s Republic of Yugoslavia, on 4 October 1955. She grew up in Titograd (Podgorica) and Herceg-Novi. She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, at the Department of Organisation of Performing and Cultural-Artistic Activities (Management and Production of Theatre, Radio and Culture) in Belgrade.  She worked as an assistant director at the National Theatre (Danton’s Death, directed by Dušan Jovanović, Prince of Homburg, directed by Paolo Mađeli, Misanthrope, directed by Bora Grigorović…), Atelje 212 (Spring in January, directed by Paolo Mađeli, Oh, Serbia Nowhere to Hide from the Sun, directed by Ljubomir Muci Draškić…). She spent a number of years as a secretary of the Committee for the Improvement of Performing Expression and Popularisation of Dramatic Work, at the Serbian Association of Drama Artists, whose member she has been since 1980.  She has worked at the Students’ City Cultural Centre since 5 October 1981, first as a Director of General and Foreign Programme and then as a Director of Theatrical Programme. In the course of her career, she has organised a number of theatrical projects, workshops and over one thousand five hundred guest performances in Serbia and abroad.
