ПОЗИВ ЗА УЧЕШЋЕ У ДРУГОМ МЕЂУНАРОДНОМ СТУДЕНТСКОМ БИЈЕНАЛУ УМЕТНОСТИ КЊИГЕ, (с)БУК2.
Драге колеге, У току завршних припрема конкурса за друго међународно Студентско бијенале уметности књиге [с]БУК2, затекла нас је пандемија Корона вируса и допринела да размишљамо о отказивању и конкурса и манифестације. Позитиван дух и вера да ће стање ускоро бити боље, навело нас је да ипак распишемо конкурс и да планирамо и наставимо да припремамо изложбу радова и скуп радионица на тему студентске ауторске књиге. Радови који настану у ових следећих пар месеци, или постојећи радови који буду сагледавани и бирани, неће моћи да избегну контекст нових околности и свест о новој епохи човекове рањивости. Можда ће настајање ових књига у карантину, неке од њих учинити незаобилазним сведочанством тренутка. Културне политике читавих земаља, градова и институција су се зауставиле и чекају у неизвесности последице ове кризе која залази у сваки домен људске егзистенције и која ће се осетити у сваком елементу човековог деловања. Исто је и са институцијама и људима који су стали иза ове манифестације и конкурса. Зато задржавамо могућност, да ако из било ког разлога Студентско бијенале уметности књиге [с]БУК2 не буде могло да се одржи у новембру, како је било планирано, да ћемо дати све од себе да га одржимо у првом следећем термину до краја текуће године.

OPEN CALL FOR THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL STUDENT BIENNIAL OF ART OF BOOK (s)BUK2
Dear colleagues, During the final preparation of the competition for the second International Student Art Biennale of the Book, [s]BUK2, we were caught by pandemic of coronavirus, which forced us to take into the consideration to call off both the competition and the event. The positive spirit and belief that the situation would soon be better led us to call for a competition and to plan and continue to prepare the exhibition of artworks and sets of workshops on the subject of the student’s author’s book. Artworks that will be created in these following months, or the existing that will be examined and selected, we suppose won’t be able to avoid the context of new circumstances and the awareness of a new era of human vulnerability. Perhaps, some of these books created during the curfew and quarantin, will make an inevitable testimony of the moment. Cultural policies of many countries, cities and institutions have come to a standstill, while waiting the result and consequences of the coronavirus crisis. It will affect each segment of human existence and will be present in every-day human actions. Therefore, institutions and people behind this competition and event, hold the possibility that if for any reason the second International Student Art Biennale of the Book [s]BUK2, cannot be held in November, as planned, will do their best to organize it as soon as possible.
THE DEADLINE FOR ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION IS 1ST AUGUST 2020.
